Tami, the uber talented creator of Choose Joy Studio and To Dream of Stars, created this amazing work titled, “Within”.
“My response was a simple art journal page – out of my background I saw a figure of a woman and within her body was a heart and another figure,” said Tami. “I love when I just let go and see what happens. Just the act of creating and playing are soothing to me.
I didn’t know the lyrics to the song when I created it – I found it interesting when I read the lyrics last night after I was finished. “No dawn, no day, I’m always in this twilight in the shadow of your heart”. And the image within the woman is of a heart being held by someone . . . . hmmmm.”

New Life
Lub dub, Lub dub, Lub dub.
Her brown eyes widen,
Her dark head swivels making
Hair halos around her stunned face.
Shaking hands flutter to her face,
Cover her eyes.
Lub dub, Lub dub, Lub dub.
Blinking tears of wonder,
Her head swivels,
Making gossamer tendrils and curls swirl.
Arms flagellate in multiples
Like Vishnu statues.
Lub dub, Lub dub, Lub dub.
Will it live, or will it die?
She has the final word—
Yes!
Kaleidoscope prisms of joy
Explode inside her heart.
Lub dub, Lub dub, Lub dub.
Inspecting.
Protecting.
Loving.
Giving
New life to a beating heart.
Lub dub, Lub dub, Lub dub.

Trina, the fabulous writer and artist behind Woven Chains Jewelry, created this stellar work.
“For Cosmic, I made a cute little decoration to hang somewhere (your rear-view mirror, a window, your cube, or anywhere else your heart desires) that is composed of two things that screamed “Cosmic” to me,” said Trina. “Of course I had to have a star, and I included interlocking rings. Totally fun!”
Felicia Kramer, the brilliant artist and writer behind Another bright Idea and More Bright Ideas, created this breathtaking piece titled, Taming the Universe.
