Paint It, Paint It ALL

Recently I’ve developed a new obsession. I want to paint EVERYTHING. I look around my abode and I think, “Flowers would look so good on that chair or a garden would look so good on that wall.” I walk down the street and I sometimes find myself wishing I had a HUGE bucket of paint to splash on the walls or the street. I want sidewalk chalk to get down and draw when the mood strikes no matter where I am – outside a Starbucks, in front of the Empire State building or on the playgound. It’s hard to contain but I try.
So, when my daughter and I got our hands on a frame from Michael’s we could not help but lather it in color. To be honest, I’m not sure who was more excited to paint initially. It might have been me but as she is the Pink/Purple Queen, the moment we opened those paints she pactically had two hands AND a paintbrush covered in excitement. As you may notice as well, she loved painting both the outside AND the inside of the frame.
Just before we were going to place it by the window to dry, we accidently dropped a button on it and realized this glorious masterpiece would not be complete until with was covered in BIG and small beautiful buttons and in hearts and circles as well. After a little Mod Podge, it was shiny and awaiting a fabulous picture.
Do you have a new obsession? If you could paint one thing today what would it be? What color?
